Justin has had a major comb-over thing going, as well as a tail, so it was time for some sort of intervention. His hair was a confusion of styles, and none of them were working for him. His hair is just so soft and fine, I hated to cut it off. But he does look more handsome, I will admit, so it was a good choice.
I had to hold him, so please forgive the pictures. I was leaning as far back away from him as I could, without letting him go. He didn't like the idea at all, but the hairdresser was very patient with him. There is no way I have enough hands to keep his head still and wave sharp scissors around him, so we appreciated the professional help with that! It was another milestone for our little boy, growing up and everything!

We call that type of baby sweet hair/hairdo inconsistent hair- it is inconsistent at best. That is why I shave my kids heads somewhere around their first birthdays. They don't have much to speak of anyway since they are all bald by the time they reach 3-4 months so what little hair has grown in is quite inconsistent. Zoe really could use another shave but I think several family members might kill me if I did that. And you are right mommy him does look good!!!
Aww, he looks so cute. I was one of those moms that waited a LONG time for Rylen. (almost 2!) Then I had it trimmed to get rid of the tail in the back (he was being called a girl from the back way too many times) Just trimming it still kept his curls. Then, on his second cut, I did the whole boy cut and about cried. It was soooo short! Needless to say I am growing it out a bit. I like him better with a little bit of length on his tresses!
